Most spray foam manufacturers have switched to a climate safe blowing agent free of Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and Hydrofluoroolefins (HFO) as of January 1, 2021 in response to the global elimination of HFCs driven by the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol.
